VALERIE MORALES
Oriunda de Fajardo, Puerto Rico - Cantante, locutora y personalidad de radio y televisión.
Un anuncio en un periódico puertorriqueño local solicitando cantantes de merengue cambió el curso de su vida. En aquel entonces cursaba en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, donde también era parte del coro de la Universidad.
Comenzó a tomar clases de canto y luego cantar para bandas musicales que amenizaban en fiestas públicas y privadas en Puerto Rico.
Valerie, tuvo que dejar los estudios a un lado por que tenía que enfocarse en una u otra cosa. Sin embargo, ella se hizo una promesa de luego retomar sus estudios y hoy posee un Bachillerato en Publicidad, un Grado Asociado en Broadcasting (producción de radio y televisión) y es REALTOR® en Virginia y Carolina del Norte.
TELEVISIÓN
Aunque no se considera actriz, en 2001 comenzó a participar en varios programas de comedia televisiva, bajo la producción de Tony Mojena Televisión, una filial de Telemundo en Puerto Rico, que incluía programas como "El Gran Bejuco", "Susa y Epifanio", "Dame un Break" entre otros.
En el 2005 Valerie formó parte de un concurso de baile como jueza en el programa de Sábado Gigante que duró varios meses.
RADIO
Valerie se ha desempeñado como locutora en prestigiosas emisoras a través de su carrera en los medios. En Puerto Rico formó part
e de los departamentos de producción y promociones antes de ser contratada por Univision Radio en Nueva York. Actualmente puedes escucharla de 10AM-3PM a través de 101.1FM La Mega en Tampa, Florida y de 11AM -2PM a través de 103.3FM La Selecta en Virginia Beach, VA.
MÚSICA
En 2003, se reunió con su amigo de la infancia, el productor de Reggaeton, Norgie Noriega. Ella grabó junto a Cidely para la producción de varios artistas, “The Noise, La Biografía” el tema “Lo Que Quiero Es Bailar”.
Luego de ese éxito, DJ Nelson le ofrece un contrato discográfico con su disquera, Flow Music.
"Te Excitare" fue su primer éxito, y luego “Ven Y Baila”. Ambos temas se encuentran en su primer álbum de estudio DJ Nelson Presenta Valerie Mi Flow, (2007).
En 2009 Valerie grabó la canción principal para la telenovela "El Rostro de Analía”.
Su segunda producción discográfica, ”Mi Corazón", fue lanzada en el 2017 e incluye diversos géneros musicales. Mi Corazón fue el primer sencillo que promocionó marcando su regreso al estudio de grabación. El video de ese tema fue producido y grabado en Tampa y en la playa de St. Petersburg. "Mi Corazón" fue arreglada musicalmente por dos compañeros muy queridos de la artista, Joaquin "El Joaco" Fernandez y Hancel "The Hitman". Uniendo estos dos maestros de la música fusionaron un poco de reggaeton y cumbia.
En el 2019, Valerie lanzó su Salsa, "Perdida". La canción es un "remake" o "cover", escrita y popularizada por una de las artistas preferidas de Valerie Morales, Debbie Gibson.
Valerie, la grabó en Inglés y la adaptó al español, inspirada en su historia personal de amor. El arreglo musical fue de la mente ingeniosa del productor y pianista Dominicano, Tony Castillo. El video fue producido en Fort Lauderdale Florida bajo la Dirección de Mako Media Art.
El 2021 ha comenzado con un sonido refrescante para Valerie con el lanzamiento de un remake del clásico de Gloria Estefan “No Será Fácil" en el estilo de Merengue.
"Como Cambia La Vida" es el segundo sencillo lanzado por Valerie este 2021 y muestra su fuerza interpretativa en una cancion escrita por el aclamado compositor Juan Deluque y arreglada musicalmente por el maestro Wilfrido Drullard.
Valerie tiene la habilidad de interpretar con facilidad distintos géneros musicales. Un album en el genero tropical merengue se ha mencionado dentro de sus planes para el proximo año y de seguro que sera uno repleto de buena música para bailar y cantar.

Valerie Morales
Originally from Fajardo, Puerto Rico - Singer, announcer and radio and television personality.
An advertisement in a local Puertorrican newspaper requesting merengue singers changed the course of his life. At the time he was pursuing her bachelors in Marketing, at the University of Puerto Rico, she was also part of the college's choir.
After the audition she began taking singing lessons and singing with bands for public and private events in Puerto Rico. As she found herself busier within the entertainment and music industry she set aside her college courses, promising to resume her studies at another moment. Today she holds a Bachelors degree in Advertising, an Associate Degree in Broadcasting (radio and television production) and is a REALTOR® in Virginia and an Associate Broker in North Carolina.
TELEVISION
Although she doesn't consider herself an actress, in 2001 she began participating in several television comedy programs, under the production of Tony Mojena Television, a subsidiary of Telemundo in Puerto Rico, which included programs such as "El Gran Bejuco", "Susa y Epifanio", "Dame un Break" among others.
In 2005 Valerie was part of a dance contest as a judge on Sabado Gigante, which ran for several months.
RADIO
Valerie has worked as an announcer on prestigious stations through her media career. In Puerto Rico, she formed part of the Production and Promotions Departments of 100.7FM La X, before being hired by Univision Radio in New York.
You can currently hear her on air 10AM-3PM through 101.1FM La Mega in Tampa, Florida, Mi Ritmo FM in New Jersey/Pennsylvania 10-2PM and 11AM-2PM on 103.3FM La Selecta in Virginia Beach, VA.
MUSIC
In 2003, she reunited with her childhood friend, Reggaeton producer Norgie Noriega. She recorded with Cidely for the production of several artists, "The Noise, La Biografía" the song "Lo Que Quiero Es Bailar".
After that success, DJ Nelson offers her a record deal with his label, Flow Music.
"Te Excitare" was his first hit, and later "Ven y Baila". Both tracks are on their first studio album DJ Nelson Presenta Valerie Mi Flow, (2007).
In 2009 Valerie recorded the title song for the telenovela "El Rostro de Analía".
Her second record production, "Mi Corazón", was released in 2017 and includes various musical genres. "Mi Corazón" was the first single she launched, marking her return to the recording studio. The video for that track was produced and recorded in Tampa and on St. Petersburg Beach. "Mi Corazón" was arranged musically by two much-loved companions of the artist, Joaquin "El Joaco" Fernandez and Hancel "The Hitman".
In 2019, Valerie launched her Salsa, "Perdida". The song is a "remake" or "cover", written and popularized by one of Valerie Morales' favorite artists, Debbie Gibson. The Spanish version of the song was written by Valerie. She was inspired by her personal love story with her husband USMC Msgt JC Morales.
The musical arrangement was from the very talented, Dominican producer and pianist Tony Castillo. The video was produced in Fort Lauderdale Florida under the direction of Mako Media Art.
2021 began with a refreshing sound for Valerie with the release of a remake of Gloria Estefan's classic "No Será Fácil" in Merengue's style. In the Summer of 2021 she released her single "Como Cambia La Vida", written by the famous composer Juan Deluque and arranged by Wilfrido Drullard. Valerie is workin on her third studio album, in the stye of merengue/tropical genre and is expected to be released early 2022.
